These gold plated Crimp Covers measuring 4mm are small metal findings used in jewellery making to hide a crimp bead or crimp tube. The Crimp Cover is shaped like a hollow bead or a dome-shaped cap and is placed over the crimp bead or tube. It is then gently squeezed shut using chain nose pliers, giving a more polished and professional look to the finished piece of jewellery.
As these crimp covers are made of Plated metal, where a fine layer of gold has been bonded onto the brass base metal, over time and with excess use this layer may eventually wear away. All our plated metal findings are compliant with EU REACH regulations.
