Swarovski Rivets (53006) SS39 Silver Brushed (082)
Swarovski Rivets (53006) SS39 in Silver Brushed are chatons that are encased in a metal setting which has a post at the back so that it can be attached to material such as leather or fabrics. The rivet consist of two pieces: the rivet which is a crystal in a metal casing and the back part. The rivet has a small metal post that is inserted into the base material and secures to the back part on the other side of the material. When the rivet is inserted through the base material it connects with the back part, to create a secure attachment.
Swarovski Rivets are applied using a Crystal Applicator (Fly Press) and Rivet Die set. The correct die combination must be chosen accordingly (shown below) and the recommended leather or fabric strengths followed. Rivet back parts are to be purchased separately.
