One reason we love Swarovski crystals – as do lots of our customers – is the million ways you can use them to add beauty, value, and sparkly charm to anything you want, including existing jewellery. You can take a piece of jewellery you already own and turn it into a Swarovski piece, with a few loose crystals and an artsy eye. We have all the tools you need on our website: applicator, hotfix and non hotfix crystals, glue, pliers and cutters; and colour charts to help you pick the best theme for your jewellery.
For beginners, you can start with our Swarovski Flatback Crystals Application and Embellishment set. This includes a mixed variety of 250 non hotfix crystals and Gem-tac glue, perfect for non porous surfaces like jewellery. Practise on an old piece of clothing or material to get started; it’s super easy and all our products come with instructions.
Take a plain band ring and turn it into a glittery adornment with some Swarovski Chaton (self-adhesive) or hotfix banding. These strips can be cut into any size or width you need, and are covered in tiny loose Swarovski crystals, in hues such as Aquamarine, Crystal Rose Gold, and Fuschia, for colours that will pop this spring. These banding pieces are so easy to apply, making it an easy and super-pretty decoration for your ring band.
For square and circular rings, add a few loose Swarovski crystals as a focal point for your hand. Start with a large central crystal, perhaps a non hotfix shape like square, leaf, navette, flame, or baguette. Add some tiny crystals around the border (maybe in a standout colour) then fill in and encrust your central crystal with small round crystals.
Brighten up that locket with a handful of colourful flatback crystals to give a retro, glamorous look. Choose a flatback mix with a variety of colours like Buttercup, Azure Blue, Chrysolite Opal, and Air Blue Opal. Scatter the crystals over the surface of the locket, aiming to space them out a few millimetres each, rather than fill in the surface completely.
Make your arm cuff a statement piece this spring, with three to four large Swarovski shaped crystals. If your cuff is dark and you want a little colour, add a few asymmetric square crystals for some rock and roll glamour. Alternatively, centre a Solaris crystal with three or four Fan crystals spaced out around it. Blush Rose and Crystal AB stand out on a plain or dark cuff.
